Tasting Note:
Nose: The nose opens with intense aromas of mirabelle plum, orchard fruit (apple and pear), stewed red berries (strawberry and raspberry) and lemon. These are enriched by notes of almond, spice, praline and pear charlotte.
Palate: A wonderful freshness and summer fruit aromas (mirabelle, peach and melon). These meld gracefully into notes of praline, red berry (cherry, strawberry and raspberry), dairy caramel and spices (vanilla and cinnamon). The finish is long and strong, with sweet notes of citrus and clove to round it out at the end. This champagne is deliberately very dry, ensuring an extremely harmonious balance in the glass.
