Bouquet: The nose is fruity (black and red berries) and delicately woody

Palate: In the mouth it is round, rich and complex with attractive liveliness and tannins that

are still present but very distinguished. It blends aromas of blackberry jam with notes of strawberry liqueur

Food pairing: Gevrey Chambertin should be served at a cellar temperature of about 16 to 17°C. (60-62°F.) It is ideal with a plate of cured meats, pasta, smoked and plain ham, couscous, beef stew, grilled meats or French cheese as Camembert and Brie.
