Tasting Note:

Nose: Black fruits, such as blackcurrant or blackcurrant, sometimes cooked, and an empyreumatic that gives off aromas of roasted coffee or licorice.

Palate: Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Siran features pure cassis, crushed black plums and black cherries with hints of black olives, lavender and fragrant earth. The palate is medium-bodied, firm and grainy with a muscular core and good length. 

Food Pairing: pairs well with a range of dishes, including roasted meats, grilled vegetables, and strong cheeses.
